Shiree
Nursery Manager
Level 3 Early Years
Level 5 Business Management
I started my career working in the Pre-School room learning and developing whist studying for my level 2 and level 3 diploma in Children’s and young people’s development . I loved this age group, being able to help shape their little minds knowing you had been a part of their growth in the early years, providing them with the key skills to beginning their life in education. Throughout the years I worked my way up to a Deputy Manager and then was Manging my own nursery. I qualified in Business management which I feel gave me the needed skills to run my own team successfully. This is a role that you need passion and love and dedication for the children. We have an amazing nursery here with a strong dedicated team. I am very proud of what we are building and will ensure to provide the children who are here at Monkey Puzzle with the best education, opportunities and care, leaving here the best little people they can be.
Gina
Deputy Nursery Manager
Level 3
I started my career in childcare in 2007 in a school, first volunteering as a tuck shop lady selling healthy snacks to the children at break times. I then started looking after a child who had Special Educational Needs as a 1-1 support for 6 months. When he left, I started working in the playgroup in the children’s centre, this is where I really became passionate about childcare. I started doing courses in childcare and eventually achieved my CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce.
I have worked in various nurseries in different roles such as room leader, 3rd in charge and working as an agency worker for a year so that I could see how different nurseries work. I eventually worked my way up to becoming a Deputy Manager and it is a role that I enjoy very much, supporting my manager and my team to make our nursery the best that it can be. I am looking forward to seeing all that our nursery can become.
I adore children and really like seeing them thrive and achieve their milestones.
